Rainier View

Project Overview

We’re making improvements at the intersection of Renton Ave S and S Fountain St in Rainier View to make it safer and more comfortable to walk, bike, and roll in the neighborhood. These improvements were requested by community through previous Home Zone outreach.

This project is being built as part of the Neighborhood-Initiated Safety Partnership Program, which works with the highest need communities to design and build safety improvements. We expect construction to begin in late 2026.
