Cedar Park

Project Overview

We’re making improvements on the intersection of 35th Ave NE and NE 120th St in Cedar Park to make it safer and more comfortable for people to cross the intersection and access the bus stops. These upgrades were requested by community through the Seattle Transportation Plan outreach process.

This project is being built as part of the Neighborhood-Initiated Safety Partnership Program, which works with the highest need communities to design and build safety improvements. We expect construction to begin in late 2026.

Project elements include:

  • A new marked crosswalk
  • A new pair of flashing pedestrian crossing signs
  • Two new speed cushions on 35th Ave NE
  • Paint and post curb bulbs, which make it easier for everyone to see each other at intersections. To learn more, click here.
