What's New with Light Rail?

March 2026

Light rail service from Seattle to the Eastside starts March 28!

Sound Transit will open the Crosslake Connection on March 28, completing the 2 Line! The connection across Lake Washington will bring the region closer together, linking Seattle and the east side.

Judkins Park Station

The connection includes Seattle’s newest light rail station: Judkins Park. With entrances on Rainer Avenue S and 23rd Avenue S, nearby bus stops, and trail access, Judkins Park station provides a great new option for people traveling across the city and region.
