Key Accomplishments 

Transportation Access Program:  

  • In 2022, provided over 23,000 free ORCA cards to groups like youth, seniors, low-income households, and essential workers.
  • These cards were used for nearly 2.5 million rides, saving users over $4.75 million. 

Capital Projects:  

  • Completed four projects to enhance transit on 15 routes across Seattle.  

Rainier Ave S Bus Lane Project:

  • Added a northbound bus lane between S Alaska St and S Walden St.
  • Added a southbound bus lane between S Oregon St and S Edmunds St. 

Other Corridor Projects: 

  • Improved bus reliability, travel time, and access to bus stops and Link stations.

Key Accomplishments

  • Used for over 1.7 million rides each year, saving riders over $4.1 million total. 

Small-Scale Capital Projects: 

  • Completed 10 projects to improve transit on 14 routes in Seattle.

  • Support of the Frequent Transit Network
  • Enhanced transit services across almost every neighborhood in Seattle.
  • Support of emerging mobility needs and small-scale capital improvements.
