Seattle Parks Community Grant Programs - Hope For Youth Grant

The Hope For Youth Grant aligns with Seattle Parks and Recreation's mission to provide welcoming and safe opportunities to play, learn, contemplate and build community, promote responsible stewardship of the land, and promote healthy people, a healthy environment, and strong communities. 

In 2026, youth will have the opportunity to join the Hope For Youth Grant selection panel and earn a stipend of $599!  See HFY Grant Selection Panel info on the Parkways Blog.

2026 Hope for Youth Grant

Eligibility: Provide activities or services for youth ages 11-19 that will be completed by 12/6/2026

Grants Available: Organizations can apply for a $5,750 award.

Applicants must read and adhere to the full Grant Guidelines

Timeline:

  • Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 8:00AM - Applications available
  • Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:59PM - Applications due
  • May 13 – May 15, 2026 - Grants Team review
  • May 16 - June 14, 2026 - Committee review
  • 3rd & 4th week of June 2026 - Awards announced
  • During June & July 2026 - Contracts completed
