Childcare & Preschool

Many Community Centers host Seattle Preschool Program (SPP) for ages 3-4 and/or Licensed Childcare (ActiveNet search) for ages 5-12 after school and during school breaks. Subsidies and scholarships are available to help cover program costs. Programs vary by location, check your Community Center page for full details.

Help Paying for Childcare

Seattle Parks & Recreation's Licensed Childcare program (age 5-12) accepts subsidy program payments for Licensed Childcare programs:

After School Care
School Age Care Camps (Summer and School Breaks).

Subsidies cannot be used to pay for other activities including Activity Camps. Those fees may be offset by the Seattle Parks & Recreation Scholarship Program.
