Temporary Spraypark Closures and 2026 Season Opening
Sprayparks will be open daily 11am-8pm from May 23-Sept. 7, 2026 at these parks:
Ballard Commons, Beacon Mountain in Jefferson Park, Georgetown Playfield, Highland Park, John C. Little Park, Judkins Park (Lower), Lake Union Park, Miller Community Center, Northacres Park, Pratt Park, South Park Playground, and Yesler Terrace Park
Alert: Spraypark Closures
South Park Spraypark is currently closed while we complete the final inspection process. We anticipate opening this new amenity the weekend of May 30th.
Beacon Hill Spraypark is temporarily closed for a mechanical issue. We expect to have the spraypark back online soon.

Wading Pools
Wading pools are open with an attendant in season on sunny days when the temperature is forecast to be at least 70°. Please call the Wading Pool Hotline at (206) 684-7796 or check the Wading Pool Facebook page for daily updates.
Season begins June 27, 2026. Schedules and days of week will vary by location.
The "Big 4" Wading Pools will be open daily, June 27 to September 7 (Labor Day):
- Green Lake Park
- Lincoln Park
- Van Asselt Community Center
- Volunteer Park
15 additional neighborhood wading pools will be open 2-5 days per week from June 29 to August 23. See schedule below.

Sprayparks
Open daily, May 23 to September 7, 2026 (Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day)
12 Seattle parks have water spray features where you and the kids can cool off, which operate daily from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day.
Sprayparks are self-operating, with most on a timer. They are occasionally "quiet" for a few minutes to reset themselves. Their operation is subject to change (due to weather or damage to the facilities).
These sprayparks will be open from 11 am to 8 pm each day of the week, unless thunder or lightning are present:
- Ballard Commons
- Spray feature shut off on August 11 and August 25, 2026 to accommodate Dancing Til Dusk.
- Beacon Mountain in Jefferson Park
- Georgetown Playfield
- Highland Park
- John C. Little Park
- Judkins Park (Lower)
- Lake Union Park
