Stan Sayres Boat Ramp Replacement

Updated: March 5, 2025

Early 2025

This project will replace the existing boat ramp, which has reached the end of its useful life, with concrete. In addition, gangways and floats will be added to the existing fixed piers, which will allow easier access for most boats using the facility. As part of required over-the-water coverage mitigation, required by the US Army Corps Permit, certain timber docks will be removed.

The US Army Corps Permit has been received, which is a major milestone for any marine project.

Location

Stan Sayres Memorial Park, 3808 Lake Washington Blvd. S, Seattle, WA 98118

Budget

The City is currently working through the budget as costs have escalated well beyond the original budget as a result of the long lead time for the permit issuance.

Schedule

TBD, depending on budget decisions. The work may be accomplished in 2 stages or a single stage.
