H2 <p>Amy Yee Tennis Center offers tennis instruction for youth age 4 1/2 to 17:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Age- and NTRP level-based group lessons</strong>, in 6-week sessions.</li> <li><strong>One-day NTRP-leveled clinics</strong>, usually held between group lesson sessions.</li> <li><strong>Junior camps</strong> during school breaks, age 8-17.</li> <li><strong>USTA-sanctioned tournaments for juniors, </strong><em>see Competitive Tennis tab.</em></li> </ul> <p>Levels are based on <a href="https://www.usta.com/content/dam/usta/pdfs/10013_experience_player_ntrp_characteristics1%20(2).pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NTRP General Characteristics</a>, which range from 1.0 (total beginner) to 7.0 (world class). Level 3.0 is the usual starting point for match play. </p> <p><strong>To register for Level 2.0 or higher</strong>, an NTRP rating level must be assigned to your ActiveNet profile by AYTC staff.
