Burke-Gilman Trail Repairs

Seattle Parks and Recreation is updating the Burke-Gilman Trail Maintenance Plan. As a part of this work, we are evaluating the conditions on the Burke-Gilman Trail to create a prioritized list of trail segments for future maintenance repair work. Please watch this site for updates on this development.   

The spring 2024 Burke Gilman Repair Work is complete and the trail has been reopened to the public. Thank you for your continued understanding and patience as we worked to repair sections where roots have lifted the pavement!

Within the scope of our Asset Management & Life Cycle Program, we conduct routine repair of sections of the Burke Gilman Trail where accessibility is impacted by paving age and uplift caused by roots
