Seattle Parks and Recreation is working with our design consultant, Rolluda, to develop the project design. We are also designing the new Lakewood restroom with a specialized restroom vendor.

Project Description:
This project address accessibility and maintenance issues at the following 5 restroom facilities:
- Gilman Playground Shelterhouse Renovation- Seismic retrofit where feasible, rebuild/repair roof, masonry walls, and fenestration. Repair/clean/refinish interior surfaces. Modify/replace plumbing fixtures and provide new restroom partitions and accessories to comply with accessibility code.

- Lakewood Playground Restroom Renovation- demolition and replace the existing restroom with a new pre-engineered restroom, providing two fully accessible all gender restrooms, a drinking fountain and plumbing chase.
- Lakewood Park, 5013 S Angeline St, Seattle, WA, 98118
- Salmon Bay Playground Restroom Renovation - repair/clean/refinish metal roof, concrete walls, and fenestration. Repair/clean/refinish interior surfaces. Convert men and women's rooms into two single occupant restrooms. Modify/replace plumbing fixtures and provide new accessories to comply with accessibility code.

- Sandel Playground Shelterhouse Renovation - Replace roofing. Modify length of eaves to provide code-compliant vertical clearance from grade. Repair/clean/refinish concrete walls and fenestration. Replace entry doors with larger code-compliant doors/gates, and modify concrete wall configuration to accommodate. Repair/clean/refinish interior surfaces. Modify/replace plumbing fixtures and provide new accessories to comply with accessibility code.
