Dahl Playfield Restroom Renovation

Fall 2026

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) identified the Dahl Playfield Restrooms in 2023 as a renovation project. The restroom caught fire during the design development phase and now requires additional work to address the fire incident. The project scope now includes structural repair, roof and electrical replacement, and removing accessibility barriers. 

The schedule for this project has shifted with a goal of bidding this project this fall to be under contract by early 2027. Expect intermittent parking lot closures once the contractor is mobilized at the site in Spring 2027.
