About

Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on Portage Bay, south of the University of Washington and State Route 520, just west of the Washington Park Arboretum.

The center is comprised of two buildings. The main building was remodeled in 2009 adding a multipurpose room (with kitchen), activity room, and a sports court that can be used for a variety of activities such as basketball, volleyball and toddler gym. The other building, known as the Roger Peter Tudor Building, the original community center, is located across from the main building and is used for youth and adult programs. It has an active pottery studio for classes and drop-in programs. The surroundings include a play area, tennis courts, a basketball court and a well-used sports field.
