Fall 2018

Thank you to everyone who joined Seattle Parks and Recreation's staff at the September 10, 2018 Open House to learn about this improvement project. If you missed the meeting there is still an opportunity to offer your input by through this online survey.

This project will replace the existing artificial turf surface with a new advanced synthetic turf system and improve access to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act standards. These upgrades will address recreational demands and provide access for people of all abilities to the restrooms and other areas of the field.

During construction the contractor will need to close the field and exterior restrooms at the Loyal Heights Playfield. Seattle Parks and Recreation and the contractor hired for the project will work to minimize impact to the neighborhood.
