Seasonal Food Truck, Activities, and Fitness Concessions
Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) seeks unique and interesting business collaborations that promote and enhance parks through a shared commitment to healthy people, thriving environment and vibrant community. Opportunities vary, with some sites appropriate for kiosks, carts, trailers, and food trucks. Most locations do not have storage, water, or electricity available. Small businesses and Women and/or Minority Businesses (WMBE) are encouraged to submit proposals. Before submitting your application, review the site descriptions and visit the park location.
Seasonal Food/Non-Food Concessions 2026-2027
2026 Seasonal Concession permits have been offered to selected vendors through a competitive evaluation process. The Contracts Administration and Support Office will now begin accepting 2026 Seasonal Concessions Round Two Applications beginning (but not before) Friday, March 27, 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Round Two applications must be submitted through the online application(scroll to links below).

Tier 1 Parks
$600/month peak season & $100/month October – April
- Alki Beach Park #2 ALKI BEACH - Between 59TH & 60TH (No vehicles or trailers. (Must be push cart, kiosk, or table set up) (*No fresh fruit or fruit drink menu items, no popcorn)
- Matthews Beach Park
Tier 2 Parks
* $300/month peak season & $75/month October-April
- Bergen Place (No trucks, trailers, or vehicles. Must be able to walk in)(No vending on Sundays or during Seafood Fest weekend)
- Golden Gardens Park (No food, open only to recreational activities, including paddleboard or kayak rentals)
- Lake Union Park (No Ice Cream, Gelato, frozen/iced menu items, or Taiwanese food) *Not available until June 5th
- Magnuson Park – Kite Hill Parking Area (No Ice Cream or frozen menu items)
Tier 3 Parks
$150/month peak season & $75/month October -April
- Be’er Sheva Park (Limited weekday vending availability.)
- Lake City Mini Park
- Lincoln Park (No syrups or popcorn)
- Northacres Park
- Pritchard Beach Park

The term of a 2026 Seasonal Concessions Permit may begin as early as May 1, 2026, and may not run past April 30, 2027.

Commercial Use Permits-Fitness/Education/Recreation
Are you a business offering classes/instruction/recreational services in City of Seattle parks? You need a Commercial Use Permit.
All commercial activity in parks requires a permit or contract. Failure to obtain a permit from Seattle Parks and Recreation may result in a citation or fines.
