Until further notice First Hill Streetcar Project Construction on the First Hill Streetcar Project is complete.  Delivery of the streetcars is behind schedule, with the initial deliveries now expected in December.  Operations are expected to begin in early 2015, once testing of the streetcar system is complete.

Phase 1 - S. Jackson St. to E. John St.
A Seattle Department of Transportation project that will improve safety and mobility for drivers, pedestrians and transit riders. The project includes: modifying 23rd Ave. from a four-lane street to a three-lane street - one lane in each direction with a center left-turn lane (key intersections will stay four lanes); repaving 23rd Ave;
widening sidewalks to at least five feet and repairing broken and buckling sidewalks; installing new streetlights; upgrading traffic signals to give transit priority at key locations; consolidating bus stops to improve transit speed; replacing a 100 year-old water main that runs underneath 23rd Ave.

University of Washington's Montlake Triangle Project Project will construct a new pedestrian land bridge over NE Pacific Place connecting the Montlake Triangle and Rainier Vista.  The project will provide landscaping, hard surfacing, lighting, and other site improvements from Stevens Way through the Montlake Triangle.  Work is expected to be complete in the Fall of 2015.

Intermittent rolling slowdowns on I-5 between NE Northgate Wy. and SR520 Intermittent rolling slowdowns in both directions of I-5 between NE Northgate Wy. and SR520 during the replacement of two transmission line poles on the east and west sides of the freeway at NE 60th St.  A maximum of four rolling slowdowns are required, each lasting approximately 25 minutes.  All on-ramp traffic will be held and will merge with the next rolling slowdown.
