HIGHLIGHTS

September 19 - 21: Fremont Oktoberfest will close streets in the Fremont neighborhood Thursday night through Sunday night.

September 19 - 21: Nighttime closure of northbound and southbound I-5 between SR599 and Boeing Access Rd. this weekend.

September 20: Washington Huskies host Georgia State at 3PM Saturday at Husky Stadium.

September 21: Seattle Seahawks host the Denver Broncos at CenturyLink Field Sunday at 1:25PM.

September 22 - 25: Nighttime closures of southbound and northbound SR99 Viaduct next week.

September 26 - 28: Seattle Mariners host the LA Angles in the final regular season homestand at Safeco Field next weekend.

September 27: Multiple events next Saturday - Mariners, Sounders, and Husky games, the Seattle AIDS Walk on Capitol Hill, and the Elton John Concert at KeyArena.

NW and make pedestrian safety improvements between Greenwood Ave. N. and NW 87th St.  The project will be done in two phases.  Work in Zone 1 will be between Greenwood Ave. N. and 7th Ave. NW.  Work includes: roadway resurfacing; spot sidewalk repairs; new ADA curb ramp installations; bus zone and shelter improvements; and traffic curb installation.

Electrical Improvements along the Burke-Gilman Trail
Project will improve the reliability and capacity of the electrical system feeding the University of Washington.  Five sections of the Burke-Gilman Trail west of 15th Ave. NE will be closed during construction.  The project is being coordinated with UW's additional trail improvements east of 15th Ave. NE.  Construction will include installing a new duct bank, installing conduits and vaults, and pulling new electrical cable.
