Transportation Planning

Transportation planning is a vital element in our neighborhoods to ensure safe and easy access for people who walk, bicycle, take transit, or drive trucks or cars. Citywide, neighborhood, sub-area, and corridor planning helps us identify transportation issues and potential solutions, and prioritize and implement the solutions. By identifying strategies to improve access and mobility, we can work to accommodate the growth expected in our Comprehensive Plan. Neighborhood, sub-area, and corridor planning efforts complement our citywide modal master plans, work to accomplish their goals, and set more localized priorities for implementation.
