Madrona Park Beach Play Area Renovation Project

Summer/Fall 2019

Thank you to everyone who attended the public Open House on August 28. Attendees shared their desire to keep the renovation simple, to retain the beautiful lake views and natural play focus at the beach, and to address their concerns about ongoing maintenance. The presentation and notes from the event are located below. The online survey is open until October 11, 2019. Survey results will be posted when compiled after the survey closes.

The second meeting/Open House is an opportunity to review the preferred design for the project and learn the timeline for construction.

Seattle Parks District Major Maintenance provides $550,000 for planning, design, construction.
