Basketball Court Closure: Aug. 24 - Sept. 2
The basketball court and surrounding area at Benefit Playground will be closed from August 24 - September 2, 2026 while a mural is painted onto the court.
Thank you to to Nikita Ares for the mural design, and to the Seattle Storm and the Women's National Basketball Association for painting!

Benefit Playground is located at 38th Avenue S and S Benefit Street. Developed in 1982, the park features basketball hoops, benches, landscaping, pathways, a picnic shelter, skatedot and a children's play area.
