View Ridge Playfield Playground Renovation

In addition to replacing the play area equipment at View Ridge, this project will update the pathways throughout the park to create accessible routes.  Additionally, the restroom building will be renovated to meet all current accessibility standards. Design work is near 100% completion.

Budget

Seattle Park District provides $730,000 for planning, design and construction

$425,000 has been added to this budget to address the restroom renovation.

Project Description

This project will replace the existing play area and make accessibility improvements to the pathway from the park entrance. All improvements will meet accessibility and stormwater requirements. 

This project will update the pathways through the park to create an accessible route to the play area. This project will also renovate the restroom building to meet all current accessibility standards. 

The play area and restroom building will be closed throughout construction.
