Fall 2024

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) issued the Notice to Process to Coast to Coast Turf for these playfield renovations. Coast to Coast is working to minimize the construction impact at the park and will only close one playfield at a time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Below is a map for the best pedestrian access to areas of the park including the dog park when playfield #2 will be closed.

The 2024/2025 synthetic turf system will be installed for recreational play. SPR continues to lead the way in developing and installing alternate synthetic turf field design sections/materials to deliver a safe, durable, and playable athletic facility experience.
