The Discovery Park Visitor Center has staff available on-site Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm. During this time, indoor access to the Discovery Park Visitor Center is limited to registered program participants, staff and volunteers. However, staff are on-site and ready to meet you outside to answer all your questions, issue Beach Parking Passes, and provide a West Point Lighthouse stamp for your Lighthouse Passport.

Restrooms behind the Visitor Center will be unlocked and available during the Discovery Park Visitor Center open hours.

Discovery Park Environmental Learning & Visitor Center hosts environmental education programming, including school field trips, throughout the year. These programs are hands-on experiences employing games, props, and activities to enhance the learning adventure. They are developed to give people a positive experience outdoors and a sense of community and connection with our green spaces. Every quarter, new programs are offered based upon the seasons and the interests of the public. Pre-registration is required for all programs so please peruse the offerings on the right to find something that interests you and register today!
