Bicycle Weekends

Spring 2024

Bicycle Weekends are back and will take place throughout several weekends this summer, from Friday evening to Sunday evening! We invite everyone in the community to bike, jog, or stroll along the boulevard between the Seward Park entrance and Mount Baker Park’s beach during these times. 

On scheduled weekends from May to September, a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard will be closed to motorized vehicles from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Sunday. The closure will extend to Mondays on Memorial and Labor Day holidays.

Bicycle Sundays/Bicycle Weekends is a program that has taken place on Lake Washington Boulevard for over fifty years! 
 
From Mount Baker Beach to Seward Park, Bicycle Weekends closes Lake Washington Boulevard to vehicle thru traffic and opens the boulevard to more walking, biking, and rolling.
