Coho Salmon

Prior to fish passage improvements at the Landsburg Diversion Dam, coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) were present in the Walsh Lake system above Landsburg and in the Cedar River below Landsburg. Coho in the Cedar River watershed past the dam have been counted since 2003. Coho in the Cedar River have also been the subject of numerous research papers since HCP work began.
