Get involved in shaping Seattle’s waste prevention future.

Over the past three years, you shared your ideas with us about how Seattle can reduce waste and reuse more. We’ve used that feedback to create goals, focus areas, and key strategies for our Waste Prevention Strategic Plan and 2026-2030 Action Plan. We’ll share these plans with the community in 2026. 

SPU will continue to engage the community as we implement the 2026-2030 Action Plan to ensure we design and deliver equitable and effective programs and policies.
