Safe Routes to School Walking Maps

School Walking Maps show preferred routes for walking to school safely.  Use these maps to help plot out a Walking School Bus or Bike Train Route.

Maps include crossing guard locations, neighborhood parks, police stations, and libraries.  High traffic arterials and lower-traffic neighborhood streets are also identified.

The Seattle School District can help parents identify where students live in order to plan Walking School Bus or Bike Train routes. Contact Yvonne Carpenter for more information at ylcarpenter@seattleschools.org or (206) 252-0907.
