SDOT E-Mail Alerts

New! SDOT has reorganized the lists used to send e-mail traffic advisories to subscribers. You may sign up or “unsubscribe” to a distribution list at any time. The lists are organized by areas of the city, by major projects, and by several specialized subjects. You may want to subscribe to more than one list.

Major construction projects with city-wide or regional impacts, such as the Spokane Street Viaduct Widening Project, have their own distribution lists. Messages for these projects are not sent to area lists with the exception of the SODO list. However, when a new list for a major project is established, subscribers to the list for area in which it is located will be notified.

About E-Mail Alerts

Email alert lists are a way for you to receive news mailed directly to your e-mail box.

The Seattle Department of Transportation hosts a number of e-mail alert lists for those interested in information about our various construction projects, as well as projects in the planning stages.

You can sign up for as many of these e-mail alert lists as you like. Simply follow the link provided for each e-mail alert list, which will take you to the project web page where you can subscribe or unsubscribe to the e-mail alert list. To sign up for multiple lists, return to this page and follow the link(s) to each list you want to sign up for.

You may also see E-Mail Alerts referred to as Electronic Mailing Lists or as list serves. These are all the same thing -- a way for us to send you news directly via e-mail.
