Habitat made accessible by fish passage projects
Replacing old culverts that were blocking fish passage opens up new spawning and rearing habitat for a number of native fish species. By 2012 over 50,000 feet of newly accessible habitat has been provided through this HCP work. This benefits a variety of native fish species, including bull trout, coho salmon, and kokanee salmon.
