Location of riparian restoration projects

StrmRptsRiparrestLegSeveral riparian conifer underplanting and release projects have been conducted in deciduous-dominated or mixed conifer/deciduous forests in the watershed in order to increase future large woody debris recruitment to the stream. The locations of these projects have been on low-gradient streams that are salmonid fish habitat and where large woody debris is an important for habitat and channel forming processes.

In addition, restoration planting is conducted in riparian areas and in wetlands to restore native plant diversity and control non-native invasive plants. Linear features illustrate planting decommissioned roads in riparian areas.
