Aerosol Cans

In recycling

Remove plastic tops from empty aerosol cans with non-hazardous contents and put in the recycling.

Hazardous – no charge

Bring cans that contain hazardous materials like paint, solvents, or other flammables to a household hazardous waste facility. No fee.

In garbage

  • Empty aerosol cans
  • Partially full cans with non-hazardous contents

Decrease waste: Choose reusable items or donate to thrift stores.
