Managing the Rental Relationship
Changes To The Terms In Tenancy
If you want to change the provisions of a month-to-month rental agreement, you must first provide the tenant must be given at least a 30-day notice in writing. These changes can only become effective at the beginning of a rental period.
Although, if you want to convert the unit to a
condominium, you must provide the tenant with a 90-day notice.
Under a lease agreement, generally, changes during the lease term cannot be made unless both landlord and tenant agree to the proposed change.
