Received a Jury Summons - Now What?

Seattle Municipal Court jurors are randomly selected from a subset of King County voter registrations and Washington State driver license and ID card records that includes only Seattle residents.

Your jury summons contains important information about your service including your juror number and dates of service as well as requests important information required by the court.

Please respond to your summons within ten (10) days. Intentionally failing to appear for jury duty as directed is a crime under RCW 2.36.170.
