Court Marshals are both law enforcement and security for Seattle Municipal Court. The title 'Marshal' is given to an official who oversees prisoners and carries out the court's processes and procedures.

Their Role and Responsibilities
To ensure court safety and security, the Marshals have several responsibilities:
- They oversee transportation for in-custody defendants from the King County Jail or other jail facilities to court hearings.
- They handle arrests of out-of-custody defendants within the courthouse.
- They ensure every person who enters Seattle Municipal Court goes through security and weapons screening.
