Amount of white water lily removed from Walsh Lake

In 2005 a small amount of white water lily was found in Walsh Lake, a small lake near the western border of the municipal watershed. Since then divers have been hand-pulling it annually at the same time milfoil is being controlled. Our goal is to completely eradicate this invasive weed from Walsh Lake, which is the only known site infested with white water lily in the municipal watershed.;
