Seattle Firefighter Pension Board

The State Legislature established the Seattle Firefighter's Pension Board in February 1909. The first meeting was held in the Mayor's office on August 11, 1909. The Pension Fund provides payment of service pensions, disability pensions, medical and death benefits to active and retired firefighters.

It is the Pension Board's mission to provide responsive benefit services to active and retired firefighters.
