Neighborhood Fire Stations
Strategically placed throughout the city, 33 fire stations serve the community.
Operations
More than 1,000 firefighters serve in 5 battalions, staffing 33 fire stations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fire Prevention
The Fire Prevention Division permits special events and hazardous materials, enforces code compliance, provides technical information to developers and contractors and other business services.
Resource Management
The Resource Management Division includes the Fire Alarm Center, Services, Training and Safety.
Administration
The Administration Division includes Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs.
Public Affairs
Public Affairs handles media inquiries, public education, community requests and events.

Members that have lost their lives in the line of duty since the department began.
