Our programs and investments

To ensure older adults experience stable health and can age in place, the Human Services Department invests in direct services and in a network of community-based organizations that serve older people, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Seattle and King County. Program and service investments are managed by our Aging and Disability Services (ADS) division, which serves as our county's Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and coordinates Age Friendly Seattle programming across City departments and offices.
