Nightlife Safety 2020 Initiative

COVID Updates - Services During Pandemic and Re-Opening

The Fire Marshal's Office is providing all services at this time, with some modifications to align with the Governor's Safe Start plan approved for King County.  Our employees are following safe worksite guidelines and ask our customers to do so as well at their jobsites.  Please note:  our walk-in counter at 220 3rd Ave S has limited hours and we recommend contacting us by email.

The Seattle Fire Department inspects nightlife and event venues for the safety of patrons and staff. Starting in 2020, the Seattle Fire Department will write citations for $373+ at the time of inspection for overcrowding, blocked exits or unsafe conditions.
