Burke-Gilman Gardens
Opened in 1989, the Burke-Gilman Gardens P-Patch is nestled in a housing development between the Burke-Gilman Trail and Sand Point Way NE. Cyclists whizzing by on the trail may not realize that a neighborhood P-Patch is just a tomato's throw away. The garden was updated in the mid-90s and incorporated into the expanding housing development. This garden is home to many recent immigrants from eastern Europe.
