OPA’s Newsletter is emailed once a month. It shares important topics, cases that may help officers in their daily work, and policy recommendations that OPA makes to SPD.
The opinions and analysis in the OPA Newsletter show OPA’s point of view. They do not represent the opinions of the Chief of Police or the Seattle Police Department. If SPD employees have legal questions while on the job, they should still get official advice from SPD Legal, Precinct Liaisons, or the City Attorney’s Office.
