As a health and safety precaution, OPA's office is closed to in-person complaints except by appointment. Our staff continues to process complaints filed through our website, via email, and on our voicemail.

Track a Complaint

You can track the status of a complaint using the OPA case number. The status will be updated at each stage of OPA's process.

Next Steps

OPA has 30 days after a complaint is filed to conduct a preliminary investigation. After the preliminary investigation is complete, OPA classifies the complaint, which determines how it will be handled. Full investigations typically take up to 180 days to complete.

It can take up to two weeks from the date OPA receives a complaint for its status to appear in the tracker.
