The Office of Intergovernmental Relations (OIR) promotes the interests of the City of Seattle with Local, Regional, Tribal, State, Federal and International Governments. By providing leadership in these areas, OIR pursues legislative priorities of the Mayor and the City Council and promotes the policies and goals of Seattle's city government.

OIR is part of the Mayor's Executive Department and serves all City departments, the City Council and the Mayor.
