Income requirement and payment options

Please use the chart below to determine if your income level, based on the number of people in your household, is below the amount listed (80% of Area Median Income) to qualify for services. You must meet the income qualifications in order to receive shelter services listed below.

Cash, check, VISA, Mastercard and debit cards are accepted, and payment is due at pickup. If you are unable to afford spay or neuter surgery fees, the Pet Population Control Fund (PPCF) is available to help cover your costs, just let us know when you make an appointment. Please note that our appointment scheduling application automatically applies fees for recordkeeping purposes. If you reqeust financial assistance, fees will be adjusted at the time of payment.

Microchip implantation and vaccination services are also available at the time of surgery. If you reside in the Seattle city limits, you must purchase an altered Seattle pet license at the time of surgery; this cost is eligible for our License Grant, generously funded by the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation.
