Curbside Management 2023 Climate Plan

Check out our first Curbside Climate Plan!

It outlines key focus areas to tackle climate at the curb like the Performance-Based Parking Pricing Program and Curbside Electric Vehicle Charging. We also identify new projects that could help elevate climate solutions within our current program portfolio.

Seattle C40 Zero Emission Freight Project

We recently completed a grant project with C40 Cities, a global network of mayors working to confront the climate crisis, to study zero emission freight solutions that will decarbonize our curbside management system. This effort focused on e-cargo bike and zero emission load zone strategies to advance our 'right size and then electrify' mindset for freight activity in Seattle.

Our team is now working to move program recommendations forward. Read the full set of recommendations here and the corresponding case study here.
