SNAP Match Programs
SNAP Match Programs
SNAP Match programming can double the benefit for Seattle residents who use food stamps (SNAP/EBT) to purchase fruits and vegetables at Seattle farmers markets, independent grocers, and Safeway stores. OSE partners with local and regional partners to support the following SNAP Match programs which help families afford healthy food:
- SNAP Market Match: Previously known as Fresh Bucks Match, SNAP Market Match helps SNAP/EBT (food stamp) participants get an unlimited, dollar-for-dollar match on fruits and vegetables at Seattle farmers markets. SNAP Market Match launched in 2020, streamlining local farmers market SNAP Match programs under one statewide brand. The program is made possible in partnership with Washington State Department of Health.
- Complete Eats: Participants who buy at least $10 in fruits and vegetables with their food stamp (SNAP/EBT) benefits and Safeway Club Card at Seattle Safeway stores get a $5 coupon to spend on their next qualifying purchase of fruits and vegetables.
SNAP Market Match is part of the Washington State Department of Health's statewide Fruit and Vegetable Incentive programs. Learn more about Seattle SNAP Match programs.
