Electric Service Applications

Seattle City Light's new Application for Electric Service makes it easy to apply for new or expanded electric service. Before starting your online application, we would encourage you to go over the following resources:
  • Address of Project
  • Customer name, mailing address, phone, fax and email
  • Owner, Electrician or Contractors contact information
  • Service type (such as multi-unit building, upgrade, revision etc.)
  • Date service connection is needed
  • Permit number from the local municipality, if known.
  • Attachments: Site Plan, Elevator Drawing, Load Calculation, Electrical one-Line Riser Diagram which should include service voltage, and overall service amperage (depends on the project type, everything might not be required)

  • Owner, Electrician or Contractors contact information
  • Service type (Overhead or Underground Electrical Service)
  • Date service disconnection is needed
  • Attachments: Site Plan, Service Voltage, Overall Service Amperage

  • Owner, Electrician or Contractors contact information
  • Service type (Overhead/Underground Electrical Service)
  • Date service connection is needed
