Set up a Payment Plan

Are you behind on your electric bill or unable to pay your current bill by the due date? We have flexible, no-interest payment plans for all customers. With a payment plan, you can pay your balance in smaller installments over time. By paying your new electric bills and payment plan installments on time, you will maintain your electricity service when we resume disconnections for non-payment. Please review your payment plan options below.

Making a plan early gives you greater flexibility and helps prevent any disruption in service. Please act now. 

Short-term payment plans are ideal for customers who need up to 60 days to pay their past due balance or current electricity bill. 

Consider this option if:

  • You need more time to pay your past due balance OR current utility bill
  • You are able to make a payment now (25% down payment required) and the remaining balance within 60 days
  • You want maximum flexibility to choose when you pay and how often
  • You prefer to set up and manage your payment plan online

Set up now:

Long-term payment plans are a great option for customers who need more than 60 days to repay their past due balance.

Consider this option if:

  • You need up to 3 years to repay your past due balance
  • You want your payment plan installment added to your regularly scheduled utility bill (bimonthly for most residential customers)
  • You can pay the current charges + payment plan installments for the lifetime of your long-term payment plan.

Budget Billing is a monthly billing plan that allows you to spread your energy costs evenly throughout the year so you can plan and budget accordingly.

Consider this option if:

  • You’re a residential or small business customer
  • You have a City Light billing history at your current address for the past 12 months
  • You currently have a zero balance on your account
  • Your monthly bill fluctuates significantly due to seasonal highs and lows
