Fire Day at MOHAI
We are excited to partner with the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) to resume Fire Day after a three-year hiatus. Fire Day is a chance for children and adults alike to learn about fire safety, discover the story behind the Great Seattle Fire and to meet the firefighters who serve the city.
Join us on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MOHAI. This event is free and open to the public. Highlights include:
- Story times with local firefighters
- Tours of an engine, ladder and aid car
- Search and rescue demonstrations by a fire dog
- Exploring a Seattle fireboat
- Educational activities, lessons and crafts from Seattle Fire and MOHAI
Visit MOHAI's link for directions, parking and public transit.
Masks: In alignment with many local arts and culture organizations, MOHAI will continue to require all individuals age 3 and older to wear masks when visiting the museum until the level of community transmission in King County falls to a low level per CDC guidelines.
If you forgot your mask, masks are available onsite, and locally made masks are available to purchase in the MOHAI Mercantile.
