Stay warm and safe this winter!

Keep anything that can burn at least three feet from heating equipment, like the furnace, fireplace, wood stove or portable space heaters.

Have a three-foot kid-free zone around fire places, open fires and space heaters.

Do not burn charcoal or use gasoline generators indoors, including the garage.

Never use the oven to heat your home.

Make sure that chimneys and flues are in good condition and not blocked if you are going to use the fireplace.

Have a Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm outside each sleeping area and on every floor of your home – if the alarm sounds, get out and call 9-1-1.
