Apply for Discounted Cable TV

The Cable Discount program was created to help keep basic residential cable television service affordable for all Seattle residents. The program currently provides a $5.17 discount off the price of the Basic Cable TV tier* of service from Comcast or Wave. *Comcast's Limited Basic Cable or Wave's Local Broadcast Tier.
Program Qualifications
- Are a low-income Seattle resident (see below table for more information on low-income guidelines)
- The income criteria for the Cable TV Discount program is the same as for Seattle's Utility Discount Program.
- Are a current COMCAST or WAVE cable TV customer
- Are not already on any promotional price and cable TV service is not part of a service bundle
To Apply:
- If you are a Comcast/Xfinity customer, please apply directly with Comcast/Xfinity using the following telephone number: 1 (800) 266-2278
- If you are on the Seattle Utility Discount Program, be sure to mention that to the Comcast customer service representative.
- If you are a Wave customer, apply for the cable TV discount program using this Cable TV Discount Application Form and follow the instructions listed on the form.
